I recieved this note from D&SNGRR Marketing today. A More detailed press release should be on the www.durangotrain.com website tomorrow.

Thanks again for helping to spread the word throughout the railfan networkJ.
Until the final approval of the press release tomorrow, here’s some wording:
The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad regrets to announce that the Eureka & Palisades #4 will not be appearing at Railfest because of FRA administrative issues beyond our control. Although the situation will be resolved in the near future, unfortunately it could not be in time for Railfest. We apologize for this disappointment and any inconvenience. Our reservations department is currently working on contacting all passengers with Eureka reservations. In the meantime, for information, please contact Marketing at 970-259-0274.
