The Halafax Convention site for Association of Amereican Private Rail Car Owners has been cancelled account of VIA adding $100,000 more to the expenses. The proposed new convention site of Phoenix will schedule the Private Varnish via Antonito the first week in October. Those in the know will have a new chance to reach the narrow gauge via an all rail routing. There is no telling now how many PV cars will make the LaVeta Pass crossing and reach Antonito's "End of Third Rail".
