Antonito Wye

This may not be the most important post ever on this site but I've wondered about something to do with the Antonito Wye during the dual-gauge days.
There is a picture in "Ticket to Toltec" on page 74 of dual-gauge trackage around the Antonito depot in N ovember of 1968. In the picture it is all dual-gauge except for a standard gauge section in front of the east side of the depot. The far leg of the wye cannot be see and I assume it is dual-gauge.
My question, when the dual-gauge from the far side of the wye on the right meets the dual-gauge coming in from the left the inside third rail will be on opposite sides. How was that taken care of?
Please tell me if I am missing something really simple or obvious.
