Hi, Roger -
Any chance of seeing those "Saving the RR" photos at twice, or preferably three times, the size posted? Will you be using the current ones as links to larger versions? I sure hope so!! Also, can you please check with Mr. Palmer and Mr. Ross and see if we could add a few of their shots to our Help Save #483 Screen Saver, Volume 2, where the photos could be exhibited full size (1200x1600 pixels, that is).
I'm probably in a few of them - clearing the tracks in the narrows and re-laying the rails at the highway crossing - but that was almost 35 years ago, and my old fart's eyes ain't what they used to be!
Thanks in advance!!
- Russo de los Cinco Fossillos Viejos de Vapor
p.s. There are a few* of my photos from early September, 1970, at the beginning of our screen saver preview site #3 - see link below. . * ("few" = VERY few: I either ran out of film before we got to The Narrows, or got too busy working to take more. Probably the former, 'cause if I still had film I could have taken more breaks from working ... <img class=" /> )
p.p.s. Final versions of the first dozen or so shots for the screen saver have been posted for review. If there is more than one version of a given shot, please indicate your preferences. (Link is similar to the following, but with two 1's in place of the two 3's.)
