The grounds of the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association will cater to the informal annual meeting of 40 to 60 steam auto-mobiles on Wednesday, July 20, 2005
Location: CAMA is at Kent Furnace, CT, one mile north of Kent on US Route 7, halfway between Danbury and Canaan, near the west boarder of the state.
Happening: CAMA grounds are open free for any drive entry Wednesday to Sunday, contributions accepted. The former Hawaii RR #5, a 2-4-2 Baldwin will be operated for show over 1500' of 3' gauge track. There will be no passenger carried until September 24-25th annual show as our Plymouth diesel is under rebuilding/repair.
All the steam machinery in the Industrial Hall will also be operated for the visitors. The barn of antique machinery, and other notable farm tractors will be open for inspection. A fascinating mining museum is also of great interest to most visitors.
There will be no food service such as we have at the September Show. Bring your own food to picnic and listen to the sound of steam from the railroad, industrial hall or the various different types of steam auto-mobiles and automobiles during their drive in visit.
