Your observation regarding the ability of people to interact with historical equipment in their original locations is most accurate--they are few and far between.As you noted, the Nevada Northern Railway is one of those few, and we encourage anyone interested in the railroad or locomotive experience to visit and participate in our volunteer program. It's all here to savor but yet needs real work to endure---all help of any kind is greatly appreciated.
It's hard to forget steam on a cool morning in the Nevada mountains!!
