I was thinking-what kind of condition are the buildings in Sublette and Cumbres--are they habitable? They could be marketed as lodging for passengers who would want to stay overnight and catch the train back when they are done. Or refurbish a bunk car or transform a box car into an "rv" on rails and spot it on a siding while the occupents enjoy the wilderness. Similar to the service the D&S used to provide "RailCamp." I was also thinking you could promote a blue grass concert at Osier--provide a barbeque and have other festivities--run special charters to transport people to the event, the charters could return later by moonlight. Depending on how many locomotives are in service aside from the two regular passenger trains you could run two seperate charter trains to the event. Depending on how many cars were used for the charter trains one locomotive could pull everything back to Chama or Antonito. If it was promoted right it could become an annual event. Just some thoughts.
