Carter Brothers Resources

Folks,
I got a chance to visit the Ardenwood Farm over the weekend and was hosted by Randy Hees looking very natty in his 19th century outfit topped by a derby hat.
The Society for the Preservation of Carter Brothers Resources is on the verge of some good things. I hope that Randy will do a brief on the news when he can make it public.
In the meantime I saw a new pair of 10 ton Carter trucks, built from scratch, under the South Pacific Coast #472 box car. First new pair of them since the late 19th century.
There are a bunch of pictures of them on the Society web site. Well worth a look.
