I have not seen any recent (1990s on) reports of an 1893 Baldwin 2-8-0 with a builders number of 13634 in Cuba. Does anyone know if it was assigned a number by MINAZ, the organization overseeing the sugar mills?
There were many losses in Cuba of former American mainline and shortline steam locomotives. Colin Garratt photographed several derelict locomotives around the island during 1980s; they are probably all gone now.
