I have been waiting for them to start running the train so I can get some decent photos of it now that I have my professional photo equipment, unlike last year when I only had a point and shoot camera, due to the fact that I sold my 35mm SLR.
Anyways, I thought I heard the whistle the other day while I was doing yard work, but the rails are not yet shiney, so I am not sure if it is running yet.
I did speak to the conductor the other day at Durand Railroad days, asking about how I would go about getting permission to get access to the locomotive on display a short way down the track to take some photos, since shooting from a boat can be tricky. He said to talk with marty, but I havent seen him out at SRI lately, and I hate bugging him with all my endless questions on here.
