315 restoration workday

Volunteers needed! Another work session on Engine 315 this Saturday,
April 23 at 900a and for the next several weekends until Memorial Day.
NOTE THE EARLIER START TIME NOW THAT WARM WEATHER HAS ARRIVED!
We will continue on the following tasks.
1. Tender. Work on completing air supply system piping.
2. Tender. Add floor planks and trim.
3. Tender. Mount tender tank.
4. Tender. Install remaining hardware on tender tank and frame.
5. Tender. Paint and letter tender
6. Running gear. Continue work on loosing up parts in preparation for
testing running gear.
7. Mike Waggoner will repair firebox and add pad welding to boiler.
8. Mount cut bars on pilot and tender sills.
9. Cab. Finish work on drawings for cab reconstruction; review by
Colorado Historical Society and cab team.
10. Cab. Start on woodwork for frame, windows and doors.
11. Continue to work on disassembling appliances and restoring them.
12. Other tasks on the list, as time allows.
