For general information: Both Geese 6 & 7 have been converted to 12 volt systems. Both geese use a late 20's Pierce Arrow radiators (fits the radiator surround)These radiators are non-pressured due to their aluminum honeycomb construction. It wil be difficult to stack/bolt 2 pullies to the harmonic balancer of the 235 or 261 six. The balancers in both geese are OK as they were replaced when both sixes were overhauled in the late 90s. The Museum just obtained a truck air compressor for No.6.
If anyone wants a challenge, the 360 GMC war surplus engine and transmission that the RGS installed in the late 40s is still on the Museum grounds. We would love to have it rebuilt and installed in Goose #7
