You found me!
It is true I am am working for the Pacific Coast Railroad. You are also right the P.C.R.R. is a private backyard railroad on the very large and very historic Santa Margarita Ranch (The ranch was founded in 1774 as a Spanish mission extension).
We have two steam locomotives for the line. One is a 2-4-0 Vulcan and the other is a Porter/Crown hybrid 2-6-2.
We also have four coaches from Walt Disney's original Retlaw One train set from Disneyland.
Here is a Retlaw One fun fact.
Just as Disneyland is celebrating its golden anniversary, so are the coaches.
They are also fifty years old this year.
These cars are well built. They are built to a 5/8th scale for three foot gauge. The coaches are 38 feet long - 7 feet wide and about ten feet high. They can seat about 40 people per car. To save money Walt Disney used school bus seats as coach seats in them.
Of the four coaches I currently have two the "Painted Desert" and the "Navajo Chief"off the property and I have started restoration work on them. I hope to have them completed some time later this year.
Come out to the event in May. It should be fun.
