I apologize for posting this here as it involves standard gauge, but I thought some of our Colorado readers might know something on this. There is a rumor going around that the Royal Gorge railroad has leased the Frisco 4-8-2 from St. Louis for use this summer on the Royal Gorge line. Any truth to this? I suspect that it might be a bad April Fools joke, but I thought I would try to find out. It is a beautiful locomotive and would be great to see run on the line, so I would like to think that it is true.
