Keven,
The EBT is an interesting narrow gauge railroad, ome of the few left in the East.
Nothing wrong with a plug for the Friends! I have one of their prints from my contribution for getting the cars home!
Glad to hear that they are indoors and that they will be restored some day.
Most of the museums that preserve equipment are volunteer operations. They have only 52 Saturdays a year to get any work dune. Less if they are not under cover.
As most know I am a volunteer at the Western Railway Museum. See the current Brief about some of the museum's restoration activity.
I have waited since I joined in the 1980s to see the SN 1005 get the work she needed and deserved.
It has been worth the wait!
