Well, I guess I'll take this one more step. Acknowledging that BAD chili is better than NO chili, we Texicans strongly rupidate the addition of beans, macaronis or other foreign comestibles to our chili. Chili is, by definition, sirloin beef meat, onions, chili peppers, tomatoes, possibly garlic, broth (water on the trail) and spices hot enough to clean the mud of a thousand trails off a pair of mulehide boots.
