Mike,
One giveaway if it was a sand car there was a cleated board from the floor to the car side not sure how high it was but it was to keep sand and the like from getting down to the frame through the seam, I'll ask Dick Bell he has been checking into these cars.None of the cars we got for the DRHS were of this type but I'm sure there are more around.
