I am a student at the University of Colorado trying to do a story on the Georgetown Loop and would love a perspective from a train enthusiast about the issues surrounding the Georgetown Loop Railroad. Any insight on the narrow gauge steam history? I hear narrow gauges are a dying breed, is there any truth to that and why? Also what is Georgetown's signifigance in this as far as the cessation of the operations? What is the opinion of a narrow-gauge train enthusiast? Please expand if you have more to say regarding Georgetown. Thanks, Jeanette
