Three engines on a tonnage that wouldn't tax a single engine?
You're probably right - 490 had a little trouble, so they dropped some cars at Lobato. 489 and 493 continued on to Cumbres while 490 went back and got repairs. Then the three leave again on the remainder, pick up what's at Lobato, and complete the run.
