To get to the other end of the gorge the easiest way is to stay on 19E goin toward NC. About half way between the gorge and NC. There is a prison, called the NE TN Correctional. It would be on the left side goin toward NC. That road is the RR grade, and will take you to the South end of the gorge. Ill warn you that most of the road is no wider than the old roadbed so keep that i mind goin through the cuts. From the prison to the south end is about a 10 min drive. Just stay straight and dont turn on anyside roads. As for the weather, they are calling for rain late saturday into sunday, then some snow on monday.
