wasn't the last woodburner built for US service, Dierks forest light 2-8-2s 226 and 227 were built a year or two later (can't remember exactly, but it was '28 or 29'.
They were converted to oil by WW2, and are abouts as small a set of standard guage mikes as were built.
227 is now on display in Broken Bow, OK and the 226 is in pieces at Eureka Springs, AR.
