Thanks Dan for the info. I found some info on the NY triple in the brake volume of Kirkman's Science of Railways. I have noticed in the WABCo part's book there are P1, P2 triples that look a lot like the H and K's. They are distinguished on the outside by only one retainer port instead of having one on ea. side. I assume from what you mentioned that it is for pass. service and simply has larger ports?
