Travelled from Canon City to Durango last Tuesday. Color was fair to good on the east slope of Wolf Creek pass, but down the west slope was still green. Then on Wednesday chased the trains to Silverton and the color was pretty nice above Rockwood and into Silverton on the highway. Went up to Gladstone and back, then to Animas Forks and that was all nice. On Friday, went north from Durango to Ouray and Red Mtn Pass is very good also. Not much change from Montrose to the east, but did go over Marshall Pass and it was very nice on then west slope, higher up, and nothing on the east slope. Hope this helps you make your plans.
