Re: Just where are the last trolleys?

folks,
Did anybody mention Denver?
In the old days, they had a large 42" system. One of the cars bodies in in the /collection of the Orange Empire railway Museum because they have 42" track, on which they run their Los Angeles Railway cars.
LA by the way has four Light Railr Lines and in San Pedro they have a heritage line using a surviving Pacific electric car and two newly build replicas.
You can also get to that Heritage car sight from the Seashore Trolley Museum site. Seashore is the Nation's oldest Trolley Museum.
Narrow gauge did not always mean steam power!
Last summer the New Orleans Publis Transit Agency corrected a mistake they made back in 1964, they returned electric cars to the Canal Street Line with modern replica cars line the Pearley Thomas cars that run on the St Charles Line.
