Agree and disagree (somewhat)

Don ,you are right for the most part. There are other boards that better accommodate "subject creep". However, some economic issues, especially after a long recession affect all of us, the hobby and certainly the preserved roads we enjoyed visiting. Many of the board's readers have been adversely affected by a huge shift underway in global markets. As far as "red vs. blue" political arguments, they absolutely do not belong here. If we do not look at "big picture" issues, we will never understand why the C&TS and other preserved roads have had to fight for their existence the last few years.
