The following engines and rotary plows mentioned in the story survive today:
Engines 80 and 81 are in Oregon at the SVRy #20 & #19 [operating]
Engines 70 and 71 are in Tennessee at Dollywood [one may be operating]
Engine 190 is in N Carolina at the Tweetsie RR [operating]
Rotary 1 is restored and operable in Skagway Ak
Rotary 2 is at Breckenridge Co [?]
Rotary 3 is buried in the Skagway river
