Borries,
The US Gypsum RR has a very stable future. One of the locos has just been overhauled. Some track upgrading has taken place. The railroad runs two shifts (out of three) daily with four round trips per shift. It is a push-pull operation. Engine in rear, pushing the hoppers, out to the loader because the locomotive does not fit under the loader. Hint as to what happened to the wrecked MLW, don't remember the number (113?). This information is from my nephew who works there. By the way, the gravel loading spurs are no longer there.
