The article is under the "Denver and the West" section, listed with several others.
The one startling item to me is that Ken Salazar ruled that the line had been abandoned due to nonuse. Most certainly, there will be challenges to that law. The Union Pacific would come to mind immediately as taking a stand against that ruling.
Ken Salazar is Attorney General from Colorado and as I recall, he is from the San Luis Valley.
