PRSL: Here is just a very minor example of adverse posession. Years back I was involved in City Gov. of this small town. Our City Attorney stumbled on the fact that the local branch line did not have title or easment where they cross a city street. One block up, the opposite is true, the the city doesn't have a title or easment to a city st. that crosses the rr row. I suspect these irregularities are way common.
