Just to give some perspective on 1966 prices, a new stripped full size Chevy went for $2000, gas was .29 a gallon, a MacDonald's cheeseburger was .29, minimum wage was $1.50. Everything was lots cheaper but we didn't have anywhere near as much cash available.
