...and here's that Vulcan double-heading with WP&Y #69 during its stay at the Nebraska Midland Railroad (Stuhr Museum) in Grand Island, Nebraska. I'm sure somebody here remembers seeing it there; I've never even been to Nebraska.

You can read somewhat the history of the collection that formed the basis for Mr. Rossi's railroad via the link below, on an often-forgotten part of 'ON TRACK'. As you can see, the Vulcan looks much nicer now. That drop-over dummy stack by the way was simply a movie prop and no longer is on the locomotive (it's still with it in Santa Margarita, though). All collected by a one-time Disneyland Railroad cast member.
By all means, those that can should definitely take this rare opportunity, and help a good cause. Perhaps I will be able to attend myself. There's two ex-D&RGW boxcars, a former Pacific Coast (the original) boxcar, and the IRCA "Cuscatlan", which are also in the collection. Enjoy yourself with history and steam. Disneyland fans remembering those old yellow coaches will have a fun day for sure.
