Eric,
I worked at a civil engineering company in 1973. I had the photo lab (usually used for arial photos and maping) take the March and June issues of Model Railroader's plans and put them on photographic paper so I could make blue lines of them when I wanted.
If you would like a copy, I'd be glad to make a copy at cost for you. The last time I had them made was a few years ago and it cost about $20 (including shipping and packing tube).
