GL History (CHS version) *LINK*

It is sad just what lengths the CHS has gone to dismiss the efforts of the Ashby's and all the other volunteers who rebuilt the Loop. The linked timeline from the CHS website just shows again that the CHS is dishonest and will rewrite or omit the "history" of the efforts of the many fine people who rebuilt and operated the Loop. Hopefully 2005 will be the year that a new chapter in the CHS history is written as their management is exposed for all to see. Whether the people of Colorado and their elected officials will have the courage and will to remove those in the CHS management and put the organization back on track remains to be seen. I am afraid the SHF has created a bureaucracy that cares more about its own self preservation and interests than its original mission.
