Are you looking to sell said car? Its value, if any, wold depend on what it was and what kind of shape it was in. For the most part, the going price for a boxcar body is free, as in "if you can get this out of here, please take it" (this was the case with DSP&P 608, which excpet for trucks and couplers is remarkably intact and complete). If it really is a DSP&P or C&S car, it may have some value but that will be tempered by the tens of thousands of dollars that would be required to restore it. Also, keep in mind that the going price for a complete and operable Rio Grande narrow gauge boxcar is in the $3-5,000 range. That said, if you have photos or more information on the car, I (and I'm sure others on this board) would be interested in seeing them.
