You may have a little wait Lon. While we do plan to rebuild the Porter in the future, we have two other engines to run through the shop first (#20 & #118) and a few other projects that will require our resources first.
However, even though the completed project is a little ways away, we have been looking for parts to complete the rebuild of the #1203 for a while now. As Jerry said below, we have just secured two “parts” engines that should give us all the parts that we are going to need to complete a restoration of #1203 and the price was just too good to pass up.
