A question for a visitor to Mears Junction within, lets say, the last ten years. Are the following features shown in Mike Walker's Map CO-17b still identifiable?: The Antonito line canyon turnback. The crossing of the Antonito line over the Gunnison line. The connection between the Gunnison line and the Antonito line - providing a wye.
I rode thru it in 1947 but didn't know I should be watching for it. Missed it twice.
For those of us without appropriate motor vehicles, how long a walk is it from US 285?
