Re: "Rachel" to Texas *PIC*

A little backround on Rachel (and a picture):
Rachel is indeed 3'...a Vulcan. Formerly an 0-4-0T of the Stine Coal Company I believe in Jellico, TN...rebuilt around 1970 by Keystone into a 2-4-4 Forney with 'Disneyfication'/backdating along with a Porter (later converted to diesel; a real butchering job involving a frame-chop and boiler-gutting). "Rachel" is oil-fired, and the oil bunker is visible right through the phony woodpile.
The DRG guys can surely tell you some stories of when 'Rachel' ran down in Doe River Gorge with the old Six Flags coaches.
