Ed's story is great and reminds me of many of the events that occurred during the years I was in Chama. There is nothing like a steam train in the middle of the night, in the middle of the wilderness to make you appreciate the fact that the C&TS is a time machine in the truest sense of the word. The ghosts are clearly alive, attentive, and active between the yard limit signs after midnight and before sunrise.
