Glad you enjoyed the photos. The rumors that I have heard suggest that goose 2 was overheating on occasion and they didn't want to risk it on the steeper grade below Elk Park. I did see #2 at Tacoma on Saturday when we passed on the return trip from Silverton. I will post a photo of #2 out on the line if you want to check a little later.
