That sure is good news about the Southern Ute having continued interest in the heritage of Gato. Once they know the value of the water tank and pump house to the folks who would like to buy them and move them to a operating line, they may accept the challenge from the Jicarilla Apache and try to do a rebuild that will put the Navajo Tank to shame. Not to put down the Navajo tank, but the layout of track with the other structures at Gato can top it two fold or more. The Southern Ute can do it with pride, also.
