I don't know what part of East Texas your living in but out here in the edge of West Texas many of our lakes are far below normal.
I live near Abilene and that City was getting ready to re emplement water rationing next week. However, we have had up to 4" of rain in parts of this area over the past two days. Some of that will surly help the lakes a little.
Think rain.
