LOOP UPDATE

Things have been moving right along in snowy Silver Plume. We have finished painting all of the covered cars and only have one car left to letter. Engine 14 is ready for the season after some minor bearing work. Work on # 12 is slowly getting done. We now have the new center line shaft segment installed and should have the entire shaft assembled later this week. As an added bonus to the shop work this year we were able to fully restore former Westside Lumber Company Model A speader #14 to service. Work on #44 has slowed down quite a bit. We have started to set up the Mecabe flanger, so we can do a new rear flue sheet. As noted before, D&RGW coach 280 will be arriving in silver Plume on friday.
