At Illwaco Railway Days earlier this year, the society there was supposed to be dedicating a restored passenger car. I wanted to get up there for the ceremonies, but had too many commitments (meaning 70 hours+ a week at work).
Does anybody have any info about where that car is now? Also, after the end of the IR&N, many of the passenger cars stayed on the Long Beach Peninsula as barns, guest houses, etc. How many of those are to be found, and where?
