Opps, did I write 6EL?
I mean 6ET. 6ET uses the same #6 distributing valve as the 6BL, etc. The BL stands for "Branch Line."
The 6ET schedule usually uses the H-6 automatic brake valve and the S-6 independent brake valve on separate pipe brackets.
For some reason when the same #6 distributing valve was applied to electric locomotives the schedule was called 14EL. This schedule usuallly uses a K-14 stand on which both the automatic and straight air valves are mounted one upon the other.
