Ninety Percent of todays road between Sargent and Mears Junction is the old D&RGW road bed. I've gone over the road several times in each direction, had a cassette of narrow gauge sounds playing. Your imagination can sit you in the cab of a locomotive working upgrade.
Fall colors in the aspens & oak make this a perfect drive during September!
