I do believe it is owned by the genesee county parks and recreation commission. The way that article is worded, it sounds like they may shut down the whole operation (village and railroad) except for halloween and cristmas, which I would think would put even more of a strain on things.
Its kind of sad, I really hope they can find a way to work around it, and not end up doing something stipid like what happened several years ago, when they shortened the train ride down quite a bit.
I dont know if the closing of the park would affect the railroad, but I am guessing so. Maybe one of the huckleberry guys could clarify a bit what is going on.
