Spent most of Saturday doing the "classics" at the bridge, Sunday at Hall Tunnel and Monday on train with one final, symbolic parting shot up Clear Creek at the 40 heading west into a murky sky.
I did manage to find a couple of thumb-sized chucnks of authentic C&S coal at High Fill, which I plan to sacrifice to the Steam Gods Friday when I'm crewing the 1925 back here in North Carolina.
