No, I don't think it ever happened, Bob.
I seem to recall Ed Haley telling me that he wanted to arrange a Rocky Club excursion, but #647 went out of service before it could happen. There were logistical and/or financial problems transferring equipment over the D&RGW that prevented this at least once, as I recall.
