Josh, #481 was used as spare parts for the three 470's to the point that it needed most of the same kind of work to restore appliances, bearings, etc. that the others did.
The boiler was great, though, having never been lit by the shop in Alamosa in '68. That would have made restoration to servicable condition much easier.
The tender trucks on the 480's are identical to the 470's, and even those had been "borrowed" over the years.
