Have enjoyed reading all post's since finding out about "The Loop" being railroaded out of Georgetown. I grew up hearing tales of the original Loop from My Grandfather who was a Gandy Dancer on the Moffat Road in the 20's. I first saw the roadbed and monument when I was 6 years old. In 1960. I'll be driving from Oklahoma on Friday the 24th. to catch the 10:45 on Saturday. Looking foward to it, but will be kinda sad.
